Joseph F. Donnermeyer Human and Community Resource Development

Joseph F. Donnermeyer (Ph.D. University of Kentucky, 1976) is Professor of Human and Community Resource Development. His research interests are in the study of rural crime and of change in Amish communities. He is involved in a number of projects including: an assessment of prevention programs by stakeholders (students, parents, educators, and police officers); an assessment of police executive leadership programs; analyses of rural-urban differences in epidemiologic and etiologic patterns of adolescent substance use; a study of the relationship between community structure and rural crime rates in Australia; and an evaluation of cross-functional problem-solving teams within the Columbus Police Department.
