Tom Gregoire (Ph.D. University of Kansas, 1994) is Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Social Work, and the MSW Program Director. His research interests include motivation in substance abuse treatment, substance abuse treatment outcomes, and access to substance abuse treatment. His current research activities include: the evaluation of a community collaborative seeking to increase access to substance abuse treatment and other social services for homeless women with substance use disorders in Kansas City, Missouri; a validation study of the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services adult and juvenile levels of care protocols; and the evaluation of an evidence-based approach to assertive case management for adolescents with substance use disorders in Columbus, Ohio.
