- Abstract:
- The object of this study was to use the Ohio Incident-Based Reporting System (OIBRS) data to paint a picture of domestic violence in Ohio. Using 2004 data from 160 agencies that reported useful OIBRS data, we described the nature and extent of domestic violence, parsing the data by the nature and ages of victim and offender, the type and income level of jurisdiction, and the location of the incidents.
