“Coming Home from Prison: Family Matters” provides an overview of how families experience and manage community reentry. Based primarily on research conducted with men returning home from prison and their wives and girlfriends, the presentation describes the impact of incarceration and community reentry on family relationships. Families as sources of support, conflict and domestic violence, parent-child relationships, and parole practices and expectations are among the topics covered.
