Soc 101: Angelo Alonzo

The goal of Sociology 101 is to provide you an opportunity to understand the consequences of 'group life' in your everyday and total life experience. To accomplish this goal we will study basic sociological concepts, theories and research methods used by sociologists to understand how our everyday membership in diverse groups, associations and organizations affects our life chances in society. A constructionists/interactionists perspective is used to understanding how we are both products and producers of our society.
