Research Interests:
Sociology of law, criminology, criminal justice, and deviance. Present research activities include projects analyzing the linkages among racial residential segregation, social disadvantage and urban crime, the social context of judicial decisions, and the interrelationships among executions, execution publicity, and homicide.
