Overall Reliability: .79
The overall reliability for the Workplace Ethnography data
is .79. This number represents the average correlation between
codings of a given book by independent coders. Twenty-seven
different books (cases) were coded by multiple coders from a sample
size of 204 (13%). All 27 were coded at least twice and five were
coded by a third independent reviewer.
ITEM
by ITEM Reliability:
Item by item reliability analysis was also undertaken. These
reliabilities are specific to each variable and are reported in the
linked "ITEM by ITEM reliability" file above. Each number
represents the percent agreement on a common answer among multiple
codings for a given book, averaged across all cases with multiple
codings.
