Transfer Credit Evaluation Procedures
- Make contact with Undergraduate Student Services in the Department of Sociology regarding the transfer credit evaluation process. Phone 614.292.1175.
- Locate course materials to be evaluated including: course description, syllabus, transfer credit report, and an unofficial transcript from previous institution.
- Transfer Credit Report can be located and printed from: http://www.ureg.ohio-state.edu
- Complete the Sociology Transfer Credit Evaluation form:
- Students may submit transfer credit evaluation form and course materials to Karyl Shirkey, Sociology Transfer Credit Evaluator, in 302 Bricker Hall.
- You will be notified via email with the results of your transfer credit evaluation.
- You can pick up your course materials in 302 Bricker Hall within 4 weeks of your email notification. After 4 weeks, your materials will be discarded.
IMPORTANT NOTE: INCOMPLETE TRANSFER CREDIT MATERIALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. STUDENTS SHOULD WORK WITH AN ADVISOR TO ENSURE ALL MATERIALS ARE COMPLETE AND SUFFICIENT FOR THE EVALUATION PROCESS.
