Curriculum
As you follow the links to either the Sociology or Criminology curriculum information, you will find two versions. All students who declare Sociology or Criminology as their major SU08 or after will follow the new curriculum. Students who declared their majors SP08 or earlier will continue to follow their original curriculum. CONFUSED??? Come in to see an advisor!
The new curriculum requires an Integrated Elective - students may choose Research or an Internship to fulfill this requirement. This addition to the major requires planning on your part. Think ahead! Check out the documents that we have put together NOW to plan for how you will fulfill this requirement.
Regardless of the curriculum version that you are following, make the most out of your Sociology or Criminology experience. Choose courses based on your interests and career or research plans.
