Pre-Law Resources
"I've found that Criminology and Pre-law at Ohio State really developed my reading and writing skills, which are critical to getting into and succeeding at law school. In addition to academics, law schools are looking for well rounded students with different experiences and diverse backgrounds. Through the criminology department, I've done an internship with the FBI, worked at several academic research facilities, worked at the FBI on a temporary contract and was then offered full time employment. I've built on these and have worked as a legal intern with the Adult Criminal division of the Franklin County Prosecutor's office and am now a Law Clerk helping prosecute federal death penalty cases for the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Ohio. There are plenty of opportunities for students here to get involved and gain the valuable experiences that will help you get into law school."
