More From Me:
I started my position here with the Department of Sociology in the beginning of April 2008. The day I interviewed was actually the first time I had ever been on campus, so OSU is a new and exciting place for me! I was most recently a part-time advisor at Columbus State, and before that worked at Georgia Tech in Savannah, GA for 5 years. In all, I have been in student affairs/academic advising for the last 10 years after receiving my Masters degree from University of Louisville. Interestingly, my Bachelor's degree from The College of Wooster was in English, with a minor in Sociology, so I guess I have come full circle!
On a personal note, I have been married 15 years (May 2008) and have 2 wonderful children, Michael and Mercer. We live the quiet village of Granville, and enjoy walking up to town for a "Whit's" frozen custard, among other things.
I look forward to working with you during your time here at Ohio State!
